Hotel El Abuelo - Carhuaz

This hotel in Carhuaz is a hidden gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean. The location is perfect for exploring the stunning Huascaran National Park, just a short drive away. Plus, the complimentary breakfast was a delightful start to the day, providing a variety of tasty options.

He organized tours for me and even helped arrange taxis. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and well-maintained, giving it a traditional and homely feel. The location is also a major plus, as it is in a quieter area and close to Huascaran National Park. The breakfast provided at no cost was absolutely amazing. The variety of options and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations.

Spent Xmas some weeks ago, and I must say it was worth it. The weather was perfect, and the staff was amazing! The rooms were clean and hot water was always available. The breakfast included some nice home-cooked meals, and the location of the accommodation was pretty good, close to some interesting attractions. The garden and the decoration were also very pleasing, making the atmosphere cozy and warm.

That the Wi-Fi signal was not very strong in the rooms, which might be an inconvenience for some people. , the noise from the surrounding area could cause some disturbance at night, but it wasn't too much of a problem.

A great spot to base your visit to the National Park. the hotel offers nice clean rooms and private bathrooms with hot water. Breakfast includes fresh fruits, bread, cheese, ham, and coffee. the hotel has a safe parking lot and a nice garden.

The portion sizes were a bit small and somewhat pricey at the hotel restaurant.
